About Us

Our Primary Purpose

Over the years, we have found that a team approach can be an effective method to help clients who have a wide variety of needs as they maneuver through a complex financial-services world.

Our Primary Purpose

We invite you to discover and experience the power of our services. We believe it has far-reaching benefits for our clients to get opinions from several sources with diverse backgrounds, education, and experience.

Gerald Haggerty, a lifelong resident of Jim Thorpe started Haggerty Financial in 2005. He brings 15 years of investment experience and over 20 years of tax experience to the firm. His son, Alex Haggerty, knew from a young age that he wanted to someday work in the Financial Industry and take over the business started by his father. After graduating from Susquehanna University with a degree in Finance Alex joined Haggerty Financial forming an advisory team with his father. Together they bring experience and dedication to their clients in Carbon County and the greater Lehigh Valley area.

Knowledge is power.

It’s also the foundation for intelligent, well-considered decisions. When you have retirement in sight, sound decisions are vital in helping you pursue your goals and avoid costly mistakes that can impact your future. For many, understanding every aspect of personal finance can be daunting. From investments to retirement to insurance, the decisions can be overwhelming.

Client Centered

As financial professionals, we are committed to helping people just like you create solutions for their retirement assets. Once we understand your risk tolerance, time horizon, and goals, we'll work to develop a program that carefully balances investment strategies with preserving principal.

Today’s economic environment brings challenges. But along with challenges come opportunities and potential rewards. We work closely with our clients to evaluate those opportunities and reap those rewards.
